Collaboration with SEED and TAP

In 2017 Amy Simons and  Andile Vokozela worked in collaboration with SEED and The Astar Project (TAP). They  ran a 10 week art self development course as part of the Seeding Futures programme based at Rocklands Primary School, which covered themes that the students were working with in their permaculture course. Together they explored how modules they were learning such as composting could be translated into a "life cycles" art project. The life cycles project looked at decay and rebirth through art making and written and spoken reflection.
